Default Best File Shredder?

Hello.
Recently there was a thread about 'Shredding Files'.
To my understanding, a shredder deletes files and they can no long be recovered from your hard drive. (EVER).
Now i was wondering..
What is the best shredder?
Or do they all do their job with the same amount of...erm... carnage?
Post your thoughts.

I choose simple file shredder, but to the best of my knowledge, the default amount of passes is the only thing setting most file shredders apart. They all over right with random data so algorithms aren't really a concern.

SO the one with the most passes would be theoretically better. I don't tend to use more than A DoD 7 pass anyways.
