Hmm, never heard of the such considering alot of routers use a linux/unix based subsystem, simply put... routers dont get viruses. If its a new pc then you should be fine, just recommend having yourself an antivirus installed(Avira and AVG are free, For paid Kaspersky and NOD32 are excellent) so you dont get future viruses and you should be fine

Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it.
