And it looks AWESOME! I was kinda hoping for a K200D replacement with a CMOS, but here's the new one, which doesn't replace any camera, it fits above the K20D:
http://www.pentaximaging.com/slr/K-7
- Compact, Magnesium alloy body
- 14.6 Megapixel CMOS
- 11 Point Wide AF
- 77 segment metering
- 3" TFT LCD (921,000 dots)
- HD Movie (a new feature which is a first for Pentax)
Seems like a very good idea on Pentax's part to offer a larger selection of cameras, and this one should compete with Canon and Nikon fairly well... I know I want it.
It's available for pre-order on the Pentax site for $1,300 USD body only... not a bad price all things considered.
