can a computer hard drive (not laptop) be used as ps3 hd?

Nope...A PS3 only holds a 2.5" HDD while a desktop has a 3.5" but I found this video on YouTube that uses a hack or something to make so that you can use a 3.5"

but I highly recommend you don't do that

^^ It's easy. All you need is an external case for the hdd and a sata cable.
