i am sure this has been covered somewhere, but i can't find the same exact issue, so i'll ask you kind folks.....so, i'm online, things are great, then i see my gmail icon go offline, "huh?" i say, then check through my browser to see that, yes, i am indeed offline.....BUT WAIT!! i can still communicate online via instant messenger.....so, restarting IE does nothing, using firefox does nothing, resetting my wireless adapter does nothing.....if i want back online, i must restart my computer.....i am connecting online through a wireless linksys adapter and a hardwired desktop never shows an issue.....i have vista, using all current versions of IE, AIM, ect.
tell me something good. |
