dudemycar New Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Posts: 2	ATA or IDE for new build? I am looking to build a cheap new computer for family member for surfing and e-mails. Is IDE an advantage? I know they seem to be about $10 more then ATA. Is it work it for this application?
