Hello,
I work for a startup firm and I am trying to understand the differences of some terminology as it could be beneficial for future prospects. What is the difference between a Data Center and a Data Warehouse? Or is there one? After someone helps me with this differentiation I will be happy to post some more. I would like to learn as much as I can about Data Centers and Data Warehouses. All responses are welcome. Thank you. |

Not certain, but I think a data "center" refers to a centralized locaton where data can be accessed, whereas the data "warehouse" typically refers primarily to data storage.
As suggested previously, those terms are likely interchangeable in industry, with some having a standard of terminology, others not. |
