It is better to run the RAM in DUAL channel.
Its is faster that way. So try fill all the slots... I got a question and sorry for the thread jack, My Mobo supports up to DDR2 800 If i get a DDR2 1200 and downclock it, will it work (shouldnt the PC do this auto?) If so you will get better timings and future proofness... On topic though, they are all DDR2 1066, they all have timings of 5-5-5-12 (some 18) and most operate at 2.2V Basicallly its the looks that you buying They are all good when you get to that level (Crucial, Corsair, OCZ, Mushkin, G.Skill, Kingston, Geil (ive heard they are the best???), patriot etc Basically get whats cheapest and looks the best. And for Vista, 2Gb is recommended, but get 4 gigs, it will help a ton

they do look the biz as for your question-yes i do belive that your computer will take higher ghz ram but it will only recognise the maximum the board is rated at.... i have had 800mhz ram running on a board that only supported 667mhz with no problems
