I think I messed up but I want to know for sure...
Just bought (2)1mb sticks of Corsair CM2X1024-6400 with 5-5-5-18 timings...I take the computer apart to add it in...I check the installed memory first...turns out it is Corsair CM2X1024-6400 with 5-5-5-12 timings...I believe both are 1.9v What problems, if any, will I have mixing these two? Should I just get 2 more gigs of the stuff I just bought? Thanks for any insight anyone can give me. |

You should be fine, though all of the sticks will (probably) run @ 5-5-5-18, unless you set the timing manually or have a really finicky board that makes the timing go through the roof as soon as you mix sticks with slightly different specs... but you definitely should be fine.
