---My Computer now---

AMD Athlon(tm) XP 1600+ - probably not upgrading since processers cost a shit load right??
1.40 GHZ
608 MB of RAM - upgrading to 2 gigs
32mb via s3g graphics card

but with the 1.40 ghz processer and 2 gigs of ram and 512 mb graphics card would games like fable cs source or halo pc run fine on my computer? I'm not looking to play new games just games like that.

Looks good, but would your motherboard support that?

Im assuming based on that CPU that your MB does not have a PCI-e slot but please post the model # to verify.

Also that CPU will struggle immensly with those games, i think that CPU is even before the barton core. anyways if im nost mistaken the Athlon XP 1600+ was comparable to the Pentium 4 2.0 GHz processors.

Cole,

Check out this thread: MOBO, CPU, RAM, and GPU

I'm selling a motherboard, RAM, CPU and Video card bundle that should represent a significant upgrade for you.

Originally asking %250.00, but I'm willing to around $200.00 or make an offer.

G31 + E1200 is $100. XMS2 (2GB) after rebates is $39. $139, and maybe a 8800GS? Around $80, so around $200 and you have a decent computer.
