There's a film on at the cinema now, that uses 3D. Go and ask, see if they have any spare glasses

Its rubbish, really. I tried it (bought the CE of trackmania United Forever a while back) and its really not great. it didnt look more 3d than when you play it normally, and the colors were pretty fubar.

well as its free i would have thought it would be steam only...
but they sell 3d glasses on ebay... you just need the cheap dollar ones haha

Man you need to get tremulous it's so fun. It has the quake 3 engine but it's is Aliens vs. Humans.

i downloaded this game yesterday after seeing this thread. i also saw journey to the center of the earth 3D and so I had the glasses.
i spent about half an hour playing, and could not get it to work. it looks quite nice in normal mode, but the 3D mode does not work with my glasses. perhaps the movie theater glasses are made for longer distances, i don't know.
