Default Physical Memory Dump/Blue Screen, minor issue

Alright, I apologize if this is the wrong section, but I'm having a minor difficulty with an error. This has happened a total of 3 times, and is reproducible: my computer pauses for a moment, and for less than a second displays a blue screen, upon which I only have time to read "Physical Memory Dump." It then restarts and freezes at the MoBo splash screen. I can press the restart button, and it will still freeze at the splash screen. Only when I hold the power button down, shut the computer off, and leave it off for 3-4 seconds does it start properly. I have the latest drivers and all that jazz, and when I restart the computer the bios beeps (single short) indicate all the hardware is working properly. The error can be reproduced by trying to unzip a .7z file using 7Zip. Any help would be appreciated and, God-Speed, computer forum geniuses.
