Default To SLI or not to SLI...?

Hi all,

So what’s your opinion on this one: Say you were spending $X on a new video card(s). Do you:

A) Get 2 SLI cards for $0.5X

or

B) Get 1 beast card for $X.

Thanks…

depends, i find the only cards woth doubling up ar the 9600GT and the 3870

They are the only ones that give great performance when doubled up, and actually make the money spent, worth it.

But yeah, i would get a ATI 4870, kills all NVidias in the same Price range

And you can keep your intel board, and you can CF later

^^ You can only CF if his/her mobo supports CF. If he asks it's SLi then best bet is that it won't support CF.
