For cpu temp i use realtemp.

I'm not positive but I think its 38C. Realtemp couldn't read my processor so i downloaded speed fan. I'm not positive but I think its 38C

in WoW there are also multiple options with the same resolution, but different multisampling ratings. put it on the 1x multisampling if it isnt there already. (tends to help a lot too )

When i try to raise my FPS, I always change the resolution to 1 step under mine (1024x768 for me) and raise all other options to max.
NFS carbon is just magnificent this way!

See if you can OC it. Do you have a brand name computer?

Yes its a dell dimension 4600 I dont know anything about oc though.
