For starters, if you going to get a webcam get yourself a decent brand. Newegg sells quite a few decent webcams, and for the price this is pretty decent:

If you have a walmart close by, for $15 they sell the Logitech Quickcam E1000 which i personally owned, and for the price is an excellent webcam.

Dont skimp on a power supply,if it fails, it usually takes out other components alongside it.
