Question How do you store a removed internal hard drive?

Hi,

I'm moving soon, and I don't have space for a tower case in my car. To protect my information, I removed the hard drives. I was wondering how you go about storing them so they don't get destroyed by static electricity? What shouldn't I store them in?

Thanks

Dan

You can probably just put it anywhere you want and it likely will be fine. If you are worried about it put it in an anti static bag. You can get them from most computer shops if you don't have any extras.

Anti static bags - if you can pick them up! My local store's been out for weeks.

You could also use bubblewrap.

Don't store them near a car heater, cos sometimes it gives out moisture.
