Default Looking to Get A Laptop

I have been trying to search for a laptop for a couple of weeks now, and I am having trouble deciding. I need one for school, but I also want to get a laptop that will satisfy what I want and have it last for a while. I pretty much can get any one for school, I was just trying to find one between $800-$1000. I like to play computer games, so I have been trying to find the best computer possible.

The main confusing part are the Video Cards. I heard Nvidia was good, but I have no idea how these other cards are. One laptop I was looking at was this

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....#productdetail

I like the appearance, I just don't know about the processor or the video card.

Looking for suggestions and info about video cards just to clear it up for me.

Thats a pretty good laptop, its just I never heard of any of the companies that made those laptops besides the acer, and I don't know the quality. Does anyone have experience with any of these laptops?

Yes, asus make good quality laptops and desktop parts. Stay away from best buy when dealing with laptops, any $800+ laptop should have atleast a low end dedicated card.
