Question Computer Lockdown Program

Hello everyone,

In a few weeks i shall be going to a LAN party and security of my PC while i leave it unattended it one pf my first concerns.

Now i have taken many precautions to physiclly lock my pc but a good software locking program seems hard to come accross.

I want a program ( i dont mind paying a reasonable price) which can do the following:

-On a hot key COMPLETELY lock my computer. I.E. No access to anything including the desktop, files, drives or anything at all. Only thing you can do is enter a password.
-Prevent Safe Mode and load on startup.
-Prevent access from 1999 other potential computer experts in the room.

This is a prime time for pranks and i wish to defend myself in advance. The problem is im running Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit and thus finding a compatible program is proving troublesome. So any recomendations are welcome here.

Being a computer expert myself i know how easy it is to get around normal security measures, there is no way they will get to my bois battery or drives but some softwarical defence program to assist in the defence of the system would be great.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Get a Transcend flash drive and use the software that comes with it. You unplug your flash drive and it locks the pc.

The problem is with flash drives is that you are totally dependent on the drive. If it is removed you will be locked out meaning that when ill be gaming with a headset on totally oblivious to my surroundings, the pen drive can be easily removed locking me out.

The drive could be easily lost or stolen causing endless number of problems and its an easy target for prankers. Which is why i was thinking more of a purly software based solution with passworded access.
