View Single Post - Hard Drive recovery problems/questions, please help!

I used the following site to help me through the process, http://michaelstevenstech.com/XPrepairinstall.htm. Just as mentioned in the help guide, the repair ("R") was not an option during Windows setup. I exited the setup and the computer automatically tried to reboot (which of course didn't work). The screen remained blank like every attempt before and then the following message appeard on the screen:

"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt: \windows\AppPatch\drvmain.sdb"

Any advice? Thanks!
