Default which new hard drive?

Ok so I need more hard drive space (I have two WD 400gig drives now)... Looking for above 500gb drives and not sure if its worth going to the tb tho. I was looking at these 3:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136151 .18$/gb

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136218 .14$/gb

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822136150 .147$/gb

If you haven't guessed by now I love WD... I have 2 in this machine, one external and 3 spread out in machines at home and dont' have a bad word to say about any of them.

My biggest thing is about the 5400-7200RPM drives. Do they work well and just use less power? Do you notice them being slower? I don't need raptor speed or anything but don't want to wait for my hard drive. Let me know what you guys think I should do and whats best for my buck.

Thanks

If you want 1TB, that's just fine.

I'd personally go with the third one since it's 7200 RPM and that'll allow you to read and write faster.

They're all 7200 but the third is 5400-7200 and my question is do you even notice a difference or does it run just like a 7200 when you're using it and just slow down to 5400 when its idle? If thats how it works and people say they're working fine I'd probably go with it but I just dont' want to notice it being slower.

That's probably all it does is slow down when it's idle.
