NeverwinterNights 2 VS. GuildWars

which is better? does neverwinternights 2 mask of the betrayal expansion need the original game to be played?

I voted for GuildWars because I have been playing it for quite a while. So, kinda biased there.

Is NWN 2 a MMORPG also? Just wondering...

neverwinter nights 2 is a sandbox game and instances online co op. it also have a zone like a mini mmo. thats what i heard. but it is not a mmo.

I see why you are comparing the two now.

The way the game is setup, from your description, seems like they are both kinda similar in a way that they are instanced. I'm going out on a limb here and says that GuildWars would probably have more ppl to play with compared to NWN2 but then again this might just a biased view from me since I only play GW so far.

NWN2 is the only one that i have played but I would recommend guildwars as NWN2 was to... it was boring, and just not really enjoyable.

NWN2 is FAR AND AWAY much better than guild wars. I have both and I simply cannot stand Guild Wars. It is lacking that "MMO" feeling that other MMO's (like WoW and Lord Of The Rings Online) have. It just feels like a really terrible and overly boring single player RPG.

NWN 1 is also a classic of the RPG genre if you haven't played it.
