Default PC slower after a format :<

Well, I just formated my PC today, or w/e its called, and it's running slower than it did before.. Is this normal? does it run slower in the beginning? It's also making alot more sound then before.

The reason why I formated is because I removed some important files from my computer which caused it to freeze every 10 mins and run slowly, can that be why its slower than usual?

usually it should be much faster after reformatting, especially if you havent done it for a while (reformatted i mean, not the other meaning).
as others have said, if you havent installed your video drivers then often it can lag alot.
