be prepared, typical questions asked are approaching :-)
So I decided to look into blowing that lovely government check I got. I came here when I built my new PC back around xmas and found invaluable help. I LOVE my computer. Time has come for a video card, one and possibly two LCD's ~21" or more..... I've got..... Case - X-Qpack 2 mini case (which i love) Proc - Intel core 2 Duo 2.33 Ram - 2g's of ram. Mobo - Asus P5KPL-VM Xp slots - 1 x16-PCI-E, 1 X x1-PCI-E So Basically I'm looking for some good bang for my buck on a video card. I do 3D graphics 3Ds Max mostly. I game and work, gaming is also work so I game while I work. I'm looking to eventually get dual LCD's ~21" or bigger so I can bring my work home and work on a system equal the offices; so dual HDMI is gonna be a must. The other thing I'm looking to do is add strength to my wireless. My wife and I are in an apt. and the router and my computer are maybe 50 ft apart but there are a few walls in between and my computer usually doesn't get the best signal. so I'd like to boost that. Any help is welcome |

As much as it hurts to say, the 4850/4870 is prolly the best bang for the buck card out there at the moment. It has dual dvi ports, which i am assuming you mean dvi and not hdmi. if you need to boost your wireless signal, i would like to know what router and wireless card you are using.

well, dual 21" screens is gonna require a lot of power, so wait a little longer and buy an ATI 4870X2, or crossfire a pair of 4870's
