Hi All.

Was getting some quotes from computer stores around here, this is what one of them said.

Quote:
I am afraid, the Q6700 is a very old product, and now it is almost discontinued. And even the motherboard is a little bit old as well.

What I recon, is you can upgrade the Cpu to Q9300 which is 2.5GHZ 1.33, FSB is faster than the old one.
The motherboard you can choose the Asus P5Q which is the newest P45 chipset.
I told him about the Q6700 perfering that one and all the reasons why, Im just wondering is the MOBO old? I thought it was newish lol, also whats this about DDR3 is that available yet?

Cheers
