Default e8500, what do you think? + temperatures

Got my new Mobo and CPU today (X48 Rampage Formula, e8500). Only took about 20 minutes to get set up and over clock, straight swap of motherboards, (saves the hassle of reinstalling windows) and everything is great. Let me know what you think of my over clock.

Is ASUS PC PROBE reliable for temperatures? I have tried everything else under the sun and nothing else works on this board.

Do you think that the Vcore is a little high for air cooling? The max temp recorded by PC PROBE was 47c at full load.

Could you suggest anything that might show core temps, everest won't work, or core temp, or pc wizard?

try to keep lower the voltage until it becomes unstabile(sp?) it'll save your silicon from frying itself even sooner than it normally would

Just got Everest working, weird! Anyway, the highest core temp was 55c. CPU is idling at 25c

Is 1.36vcore a bit on the high side then?

never really oced a chip, but stock is at what 1.25v?, so long as it stays under 1.5v you should be good for a year before the chip craps out on you(im talking about the 1.5v)

Thats ok then. I was not planning on going over 1.4 anyway, well, until I get water cooling anyway.
