I listen to stuff like that all the time
When I'm gaming I like ELO and Pink Floyd I like a lot of stuff off the wall.

During most FPS's I usually listen to (usually) Melodic Death Metal (think: In Flames, Children Of Bodom) or Dream Theatre or just some HEAVY METAL.
But during Unreal Tournament, I only listen to Muse, it really suits it for some reason.
During racing games, either Indie (Death Cab For Cutie) or whatever is playing.
During RTS's and 4X's I usually just listen to podcasts.

lol u serious..? the game is what u need to listen to, but some rap like dayton family, papoose, 3 6 mafia, young buck.. and a few others are on my playlist.. but for halo only thing that gets me pumped is the sounds of my br and snipe lol
