Unhappy problem installing new game I bought

problems with new game I bought
can you please help ?



I tried to install the game on my laptop, I have windows xp and have plenty room but my antivirus (avast)sounded a siren signal saying this- (the walls of Jericho full armor)



file name:E:\setupJericho.exe

Malware name:Win32-Adware-gen[Adw]

Malware type:Adware

VPS version:080723-1,07/23/2008



so when I followed avast instructions on what to do which was move to chest/vault

when I tried, avast said Access denied cannot process E:\setupJericho.exe file



Said the same for secret chamber full armor

How can I install the game without getting the adware onto my laptop ? can you help

If you bought the game there would be no problem. It sounds like you have downloaded the game from torrents if this is the case we cant help you

I have windows xp and no I did not download the game, I bought the disc/game from department store all legal

turn ur antivirus off and reinstall, simple

yea.. the antivirus 'thinks' the game setup is a virus trying to instal itself.. just allow it, its not adware beeing installed, just your antivirus beeing confused

thanks guys but I did an online scan of the disc and this showed up using this site -
