I've been thinking about upgrading in a few months, to a Quad Core CPU, SLi Mobo, and an 8800GT.
I think it would be easier to get a CPU/Mobo combo, what do you think? And would it be wise to add another 8800GT? I'll also upgrade to 64bit, lol, since I have 4Gigs of Ram, and am using a 32bit OS. Here are a few things I've been looking at: EVGA 680i with Q6700 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...204&CatId=2430 EVGA 680i with Q6600 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...201&CatId=2430 Asus P5N-E SLI with Q6600 http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...228&CatId=2430 Thanks.

I'm really not an invidia fan and would suggest getting a hd 3870, but as for your question...
second one because the board has 3 16x pci express slots. This means that you can hook up three 8800gt's if you wanted to (but i wouldn't suggest because SLI i not near as efficient as crossfire)

I already own an 8800GT and dont feel like selling and rebuying.
I may go with the E8400 instead of the Quad Core. Thanks.

I'd go with a Q9450 and a HD4870, JMO.

In a few months? Why are you planning it now, those parts will be obsolete by then...

True.
Would SLIing 8800 GT's still be wise though? Thanks.

I wouldn't SLI the 8800GT, especially in a few months. Even now the 8800GT is becoming dated, you can get a much faster card such as the GTX 280 or 4870.
