Also, I clicked on the Kaspersky button but it does not let me click accept. Instead, a pop up comes up and says "Several Java Virtual Machines running in the same process caused an error" and continues to say in the little box on the website "Attention: Kaspersky Online Scanner 7.0 may not run successfully while any other antivirus program is running. If you have another antivirus program installed, please turn it off before running Kaspersky Online Scanner 7.0. "

I have no other programs running except for this thread.

OK, reboot your PC, and then turn off your virus protection, because it runs in the backround. Bottom right-hand corner will be where it is.

Alright, um, I've got a question. How am I supposed to install Kaspersky on my computer if it doesn't have internet? I've been using the other (my dad's) computer (the one that has the internet working) the whole time and using a portable memory thing to save the file from the links you give me here and then running those programs on my comp (that doesn't have a working internet). Kaspersky, it seems, needs to have an internet in order to be installed and working on that computer..

Oh, and I got the Kaskpersky to work, all I had to do was download Java (which I will uninstall later after all of this is done)

You really don't want to uninstall Java. It allows certain websites to work properly. Just make sure that you only have the latest version installed which is version 6 update 7. Go into add/remove programs and uninstall any other references to Java besides the new one. The old old versions were listed as j2se runtime.

Yeah but this is my dads computer and I don't think he'd be very happy to know that I installed something on his computer without his knowing. Besides, he's running low on disk space..

Cohen: Perhaps you haven't seen the other question I posted before? "Alright, um, I've got a question. How am I supposed to install Kaspersky on my computer if it doesn't have internet? Yep - internet won't work even with it plugged in. The reason I unplugged the ethernet cord in the first place was because someone told me that the virus on my computer (if there was a virus - I don't know the cause of my computer's internet not working, but someone suggested it was a virus) could travel through my ethernet cord, into my router, and to the other computer (my dad's) plugged in the router as well. My internet stopped working even while I had the ethernet cord plugged in.
