View Single Post - URGENT!!Sound problem on Compaq laptop with XP 3 installed on it.

well i have installed the correct drivers...i have visited the compaq website and den downloaded the drivers dat match with the model number of my laptop....also wen i double-click on the sound and audio devices in the control panel, everything is grey in the box.....i am not able to change the settings in it.....please help me out..
