Turn your laptop over and on the bottom will be a little panel or door to remove to expose the memory bay. Most machines have two slots. If yours are both full, you will have to remove one and insert your new, larger one. The computer can then use them both. There are usually little clips on the ends of the memory sticks securing them. Don't break anything, just open the clips and the memory board will pop out of its slot with a little tug..Carefully insert your new one and close the locking clips...
