The amount of video memory with respect to onboard video depends on the amount of memory you allocate to it

I know, but I found some that would only handle 32megs onboard and that is bad video.

Yes the upper limit is dependent on the system (ive not seen them past 64MB) but regardless ... even if you had 256MB onboard, that wouldnt mean anything since the memory bandwidth is dismally low..

alot of the Northwood/Prescott supporting boards can be flashed to support Willamette...if it says it supports a 400mhz FSB, you might check the manufacturers website and see if they have a BIOS flash for it...i know the one i have laying around can be flashed to support it, and it is up for sale, i had a post about it that is now gone, if the mods/admins could please inform me as to why that is it would be great...

its an ECS 865-PE v2.0 in case youre interested, but youd have to get interested really fast, or wait till i come back, cause im going out of town for a week or so.

and you could just get a cheap AGP video card that would perform far better than onboard video and not use extra system resources.

The wilimette came first so it should be grandfathered in support-wise...

i tried a willamette processor in the board i have and it failed to work, after doing some research i found out why, my bios version is 2.0...and theres a flash on the website for version 2.2? containing none other than willamette core support.

Roaddog:
Intel 845 GV Chipset has the On board Extreme Graphics with 64mb.
Intel 865 GV Chipset has the On board Extreme 2 Graphics supporting up
to 224 mb, depending on the System Ram that you have.
You only have to look for a motherboard with one of those
Chipsets.
Both Chipsets support your processor, and if you can`t find
other make, Intel builds motherboards with the two...

Default P4ge-mx

The Asus P4GE-Mx seems to be your motherboard,
because it is a micro atx, has an agp slot and onboard
video (the specs are not that clear, but this chipset
supports up to 64 mb of Extreme Graphics).
And it supports 400 fsb...
