Default Dual boot help with a hp laptop

ok i know ive haven't been in this forum for a long time (due to important etc) but anyways ive install windows vista and then split the hardrive so i can install windows xp but now every time my computer boots in wont show the boot menu where u can toggle between xp and vista but instead it directly boots to windows xp so i was wondering how do i get back to windows vista?

well i have found the problem when installing windows xp on second partition it replace the vista on the first partition and windows xp will install on both partition not one so i was wondering how do i make windows xp install on the second partition without interrupting the vista partition?

I haven't heard of this occuring before as I think most users usually prefer to one two completely different Operating systems e.g. Linux + Vista etc. You could probably try contacting microsoft and inquiring as to whether it's possible or not.
