i think pretty much all you can do is pray he wont notice, he probably checks it though, to make sure the people he trusts on his computer arent snooping around when hes not looking..

try changing the computers date to what the file used to be, then make a folder or something, then reset the date... only thing i can think of...

hmmm...that sounds like a good idea, but will any of the dates of the files inside change. i'm just concerned if i continue to try mess with it i will end up creating an even bigger mess. i think he would notice the date as it is a date he was not in the office. i have until saturday to find a solution or make up a really good lie as to why i was in that folder.

ok, my tip is that you put the same folder to all accounts using that computer, the folder should express some kind of automatic virus from source say like macro from any utility prog but has been killed by inti-virus and its empty now

but my curiosity is that is ur boss playing some kind of xxx game or save pics in his folder then it really draws your attention . I am just joking but 4 any reason dont ever do like that

I know of a program called "DateHack" where is actually fools the whole system into thinking it is the date which you specify...Perhaps you could search for this prgram and then try to change something within the folder...?

Have you tried system restore? Although, this would only be avalable if the PC has XP installed on it...

Other than that, if it was me, and I wasn't able to rectify it, I would come out with the truth to him. And beleive me, I think the sooner the better

P.S. You could try to tell him when he is on a good day, then it wouldn't seem as bad to him as it would

prolly not the best option, but you could just crash his computer and blame it on windows. ;D

get someone else to do something really really bad, then tell him, it wont look as bad then

the thing i would try has been mentioned. change the system clock so it was on a date before you messed with it, then change it back to the actual date. its a very genius thing to do if you think about it (assuming it works)

EDIT: steal the hard drive and blame someone you dont like. NO DONT IT WAS A JOKE. STEALING IS AGAINST THE LAW, AND YOU WILL GET FOUND OUT
