Computer specs:
Pentium4 1.5ghz 512mb ram when i play counter-strike 1.6, i don't get more than 60fps my ATI Radeon 9600XT is a few months old, finally got my friend to reformat my computer and still did not achieve over 100fps on my computer already know and tried in video settings and counter-strike 1.6 console: vert sync off fps_max 500 developer 3 got any ideas? suggestions? :eh?:

Wierd how it will lower to 30fps.. Your comp should be able to get 60fps constant since CS 1.6 isn't really a new game.. You could try this command in the console to get higher max fps so it doesn't limit you (type this into console) "fps_max <number>" and see if this will help you out.

you need to tell cs to show more fps it is either fps_max 150 or max_fps 150 (will set the fps to a max of 150). There are also many other tricks to getting higher fps..
my post is at the bottom.. Framerate problems :( |
