I think if you put it to price/performance air comes out on top. At the end of the day the water is cooled by air anyway. I understand that because water is a denser medium it may draw heat away a little better and your temps will not fluctuate as much as air, but it just costs to much for the little bit of performance you get compared to quality air cooling.
