I have a Dell Inspiron 1525 running on windows vista basic. It has no administrators what so ever. It also has UAC (User Account Control) activated so i can't change any account types.
![]() Is there any way of by-passing it and changing a user to administrator. |

You can log into safe mode by pressing F8 during boot, but whichever account is the primary (the one you created when you installed or first booted Vista), has administrative privileges.
