so ive come to the conlcusion that it is a virus of some sort. When I installed a Cracked Version of Devil May Cry 4, although the game works, my hard drive has been experiencing some critical slowdown. Alsothe Devil May Cry 4 crack had some very funky process to install the game. I think I'll just download legal games from now on. But I cant do find a system restore point older than when I installed Deveil May Cry 4. What should I do?

Reformat, by the sounds of it you're infected real bad, though scanning you computer in Safe Mode may help get rid of most problems. What virus/spyware etc. protection do you have?

Windows defender isn't enough. I recommend you get Avira AntiVir free version and scan your computer. I also recommend you get spyware terminator (don't enable ClamShell A/V when installing it, as it can conflict with other Virus Protection).
