Thanks guys...I put together a new wishlist at newwegg with the AMD processor fatback recommended and the ATI GPU. I have always liked Intel and Nvidia for whatever reason but if AMD is cheaper and faster then I will give it a try.

I don't need the latest and greatest - I just want something that is pretty damn fast and will last me a while.
