Hi,
I have an older laptop that I bought second hand for a very good price for what I want it to do. It is destined only for word processing, so I didn't connect it to the net. It has a PC card, which is like a credit-card sized thing that's on the side of the comp. It says : 10/100 LAN CardBus on it, Model 3CCFE575BT and rhe laptop is an Acer Extensa 368D. I am looking to transfer my Word files from the laptop to my desktop computer. Because the laptop runs Windows 98 FE, I'm pretty screwed on the USB front and I'm not sure if it works. Now, I would like to know what the little opening at the end of the PC card is for. It looks like I might be able to connect a cable, but is that right? What does it look like? And if the opening IS for a cable, what does the other end look like? Will it fit in my desktop comp? Please help; I'm running out of options with this comp! |
