embedded media player

recently, any windows media player videos embedded in websites have failed to play in internet explorer. i get a black screen with ready in the bottom left corner. any idea how to fix this? do i need a plugin of some sort?

if IE is the problem, than use firefox

what version IE do you have???
what version of windows media player do you have???

the same thing happens in firefox.
ive got IE 7, and media player 11.

Download new version of Firefox it should work fine.
Or maybe u need codecs for divx/xvid
