Default User Problem

I have dell inspirion 1520 with windows vista home premium edition installed and i am the administrator of the computer.I have a western digital 500gb hardisk connected through USB to my computer and i dont want other users to have access to it How can i do it

I recommend using software like TrueCrypt, this would make your external HHD extremely secure or you could encrypt and hide a part of the drive with the files/folders you want private, then use the rest as normal.

thanx for the advice i tried using that software but it is way to complicated and it also demands a format of 500gig hardisk i mean where can i back up 350 gb so can u tell me is there another way of denying access to other users to my ext. hardisk

Try going to safe mode and change the ownership settings.

i tried truscript and it screwed my ram or something now everytime i run anything it says low application memory please help me
