Default New Computer

Hi - Iam retired and have an old dell dimension and am in need of a new unit. I have $350.00 to spend. I use the computer to email - surf - and would like to download some music as soon as I would be able to afford hi speed until than I would need a modem as all I presently have is dial up. About the only games I play are simulations i.e. civilization IV - ghost recon - and along those lines. I have been looking on newegg and have thought about a nvidia 7050 chipset. I would like to be able to put together a unit that I could up grade in the future without getting a new unit. My only carryover to this new computer would be my canon bj 200 printer. I would not be overclocking ect. Would need an OS - hopefully XP - and a 160 gig harddrive - something for burning and playing CD & DVD. My dimension has served me well but I can no longer upgrade and would like to upgrade down the line - that is why I would like to put together my own. I have no preference as to intel or AMD. Thank You in advance - Jhawk Does no one want to help me with parts for this computer or is it just way too cheap for your time as it is not going to be a $1000 gaming rig!!!!!!!!!!!!!
