Default Want to Overclock

I want to start overclocking my CPU, I currently am running an E6300 at stock on a 750i.

I would like to know if there are any tips or tutorials with this mobo and a similar processor, if it matters.

Thanks.

Just mess with the FSB, that's how everyone learns.

I don't have to change one thing, and make a change to something else?

I just change one thing to overclock? And if I dont boot, I clock it down?

Thanks.

Up the FSB until your cannot boot or it's not stable, then up the vcore a bit and keep on going. Keep an eye on the temperature and stability of the computer. You might also have to up the vdimm if your memory refuses to clock up.

Alright, its at stock speed, using the OCZ Vendetta Cooler, with some Coolermaster thermal compound.

Do I change it to the GHz? Like from 1.86 to 2.10, or do I have to convert it to know what I am changing it to?

And what should my highest be, and how many ups should I do to get there?

Thanks.

Why are you asking here when you called me about it? Anyways just get 2 of each of these:

Maybe if you weren't such a cheap ass and a pussy you would get that water cooling kit that is on sale. But what do I know? I have only had water cooling for 2 years and haven't had any issues Anyways do what you will.

Don't bring personal problems onto the forums.

And using language like that will get you banned from this forum, like you've gotten banned from other forums in the past, drama queen.

You can get that cpu to 3ghz quite easily (440 x 7), but up the voltage to 1.45 and unlock the ram.
