I recently downloaded Virtual PC 2007 SP1 from the Microsoft's website and this is the problem i'm getting:
Ubuntu/Kubuntu/Xubuntu don't work, neither of them (error message: "And unrecoverable processor error has been encountered. The virtual machine will reset now."). Ubuntu (only one I tried) in Virtual PC 2007 (without sp1) worked. Is this a 'feature' of Virtual PC 2007 SP1? Is this what microsoft doesn't want on their products, using linux? The only thing i found about SP1 is that it adds Windows Server 2008 support. And I tried mac os on Virtual PC 2007 and same error appeared (despite the fact that mac os is compatible with intel processors). Should I downgrade to Virtual PC 2007/2004 without any service packs? EDIT: I also tried Mac OS and Ubuntu (but not Kubuntu or Xubuntu) on VMWare and they all worked. (I don't have VMWare any more) Is this some kind of Anti-Non-Microsoft software?
