Default My trip to Mt. Washington (Photos)

Since Danny got to post photos of his trip to Canada, I thought I would post some pics of my short trip yesterday to Mt. Washington in New Hampshire. I've only been up there once before, and that was a foggy day, so this was my first "real" time up there where I could see the sights!

Nice pics, that looks so different to Oregon. All our mountains here are covered in fir trees.

It's weird how they do it, the train is actually pushing against the car (wheels are trying to go up the mountain), however the train is still moving down the hill. I believe that's how they control the decent, since they tend to stay at about 3-5MPH.

Very nice pictures!

Too bad cars can go all the way up there, kinda ruins the nature of the mountains...

Too bad? I love how cars can go up there, this is a huge mountain and is a famous auto road (been there since the 1800's). They don't use guardrails then because that would detract from the nature
