Default new pc put together

put together a low budget pc for some mild gaming I am new to the building overclocking world ect hoping for some good advice here is my cpu-z info

if any one needs any info off of the spd tab let me know I want to optimize this set up to run as fast as possible I plan on getting a 8800 video card also is there a better bios utility i can download?

I'm not good with Overclocking, but what cooling do you have??? you can get the CPU that you have up to around 4GHZ depending on your cooling.

The best person to ask about overclocking this CPU is Omega, i'll direct him here

Put your ram in Dual channel its running in single

what 8800, because there are about 4 different models, and like cohen said, what cooling?

now its 2x 1g ram 2gb total how do you put it in dual mode? i am running in single

You have to install each memory stick in the appropriate memory slot in your motherboard, in order to have dual channel. What motherboard do you have? Also, you bought PC2-5300 memory right?

the intell processor came with a cooling fan it has a fan in the back of the case and another fan on the mobo but it doesnt have any cooling on the actuall ram sticks which i have seen on some boards i checked under the bios menu its running at 31 degrees celcius at idle 89 degrees f
