Apparently, the've always secretly had this cap. Without notice, customers had their accounts canceled if they exceeded the 250GB limit. Now, at least they're making it public.

I always liked Comcast, but I never used that much bandwith.

Well, I tried Comcast's Business Internet, and I was experiencing outages daily, and called Tech Support, and they wanted to send someone out, and I always took them up on that offer, and it turned out that the Techs that come to the location, got annoyed that they were here so often, even though the people on the phone kept saying they should come out.
And the building I am in, had a Comcast outage a few weeks ago, everyone who has Comcast had no Internet, TV, or Phone, and that was a lot of people, since all of the cable lines in the building are owned by Comcast, but I was one of the few people who had Internet, TV, and Phone.

Uploads to according to the info above. Ive been approached before but the bandwidth was much greater. (tera in a month). ive only done it maybe once or twice. but the conversation was real. i havent seen this dmca letter though. hmmm.....interesting. if they choke my bandwidth i might as well get choked for half the price like dsl. then again with these kind of downloads you do not want to see a dmca letter. it means a federal civil suit. limewire good for this. no spoof or proxy.

i was really pissed whenever i first read these articles and had thoughts of switching ISPs floating around in my head... then i realized there is no way in hell i could ever use 250gb in one month, and i do my fair share of *ahem* legal fire sharing
