Default Is the weak link memory or processor?

I have a Dell Dimension 8200 with a Pentium 4 Processor at 2.53GHz and 768MB of RAM. I recently upgraded the RAM from 256MB to 768MB and it is much faster. Would upgrading the memory to 1GB help the speed anymore or is the processor the weak link? Thanks for your input.
