laptop power settings keep changing
Hi, I've got an AMD/XP Pro laptop and I swear the power settings have a mind of its own... I set it that the laptop never "turn off monitor," "turn off hard disk," and "system standby" and it will be fine and dandy for a few hours. but that won't last. the settings change back to default -- monitor turns off in 15 minutes, computer goes into standby in 30 minutes, etc.
anyone have any idea what may be causing this? and is there anything I can change in registry? thanks in advance. |
